Q: My pets were in my life at different times and never knew each other. Why would I want the urn?
A: Our feeling is that the Fur-Ever-Friends is about you memorializing your pets because of the way that you felt about
each of them regardless of when they were in your life and whether or not they were in each other’s lives. If they’re
together in your memories and in your heart, then, perhaps, they belong together in the urn.
Q: Do I need a deceased pet’s ashes to memorialize them in the Fur-Ever-Friends urn?
A: No. Some people don’t have a pet’s ashes and still memorialize them along with other pets whose ashes they may have
by inserting a tag or picture, or by simply putting a plaque on the outside of the urn with some text and/or picture.
Q: What do I do should I have a fourth pet pass on?
A: The first Fur-Ever-Friends urn being offered in a triangular shape, which memorializes up to three pets. Currently, we
anticipate that our second offering will be of a square shape for up to four pets. When this product is available, we will
offer customers, who bought the triangular shape and who later want the square, the opportunity to upgrade to the
square for a nominal fee, which will be determined when that shape is available.

GETTING ASHES INTO THE URN
ENGRAVING
MEMORIALIZING YOUR PET
Q: How do I get the ashes into the Fur-Ever-Friends urn?
A: Each Fur-Ever-Friends urn comes with three snap ‘n seal glassine envelopes, one for each of the three inner
compartments. They’re to hold a small, symbolic amount of your pets’ ashes. The most common way of transferring the
cremains from the container now housing them, which is typically gotten from the vet or pet crematorium, is by a
teaspoon.
Q: Do I have to put my deceased pet’s ashes into the Fur-Ever-Friends urn myself?
A: No. If you do not wish to do the transfer yourself, please ask your vet or the animal/pet crematorium for assistance.
We believe that they’ll be glad to assist you in this.
Q: How much is a symbolic amount?
A: This is really subjective and there’s no real answer for this question. So, put in whatever amount you feel good about
without over-filling the envelope. Also, some people like to put other mementos like an ID tag or small picture of the
deceased pet into a compartment in addition to ashes, so keep this in mind when filling the envelope.
CUSTOM CAMEO PHOTO PLAQUE
Q: How do I get the plate engraved?
A: Each Fur-Ever-Friend urn comes with three blank brass plates having a peel-off adhesive backing. Prior to placing any
plate on the urn, we suggest taking it to any local-to-you engraver, e.g., a store or company selling sports plaques or
trophies, etc., which will engrave the plate to your specifications.
Q: Can you help me write what the plate should say?
A: We can offer assistance to help you with what the text should be on the memorial plate and should you wish to avail
yourself of that, please send an email to customerservice@fur-ever-friends.com requesting help in this regard. Ultimately,
it will be your words and sentiments that are on the plate and, prior to the actual engraving, you will be asked for your
approval of the text.
Q: If I know what I’d like to say on the plate, can you do the engraving for me.
A: Yes, for those who know what they want the plate to “say”, we offer an engraving service for a $10.00
Q: How do I get a picture of my pet to you for a ceramic photo-plaque?

Q: If I’m ordering a ceramic photo-plaque, how do I get it engraved?
A: You can get it engraved in one of two ways: as the ceramic photo-plaque is being made or after you receive it from us.
We suggest having it done as the ceramic photo-plaque is being made to ensure no damage to the ceramic photo during
the engraving process. Should you choose this option, an email would be sent to you with instructions on how to send us
the text that you would like to have engraved on the plaque. If you choose to have the ceramic photo-plaque engraved
after receiving it from us, we suggest taking it to any local-to-you engraver, e.g., a store or company selling sports plaques
or trophies, etc., which will engrave the plate to your specifications. However if you choose this option, Animal Keepsake
Memorials will not and can not be held responsibility for any damage that may occur to the ceramic photo.
